Online Classes

We have LIVE online classes for children to support their creative expression through movement wherever they are. Whether learning from home due to lockdown or other circumstances that prevent access to face-to-face workshops, there is a way to engage with dance.

Designed for: children aged 6-12
Duration: 45 minutes per session
Number of participants: minimum 5, maximum 25
Prerequisites: none

The online classes introduce the children to the process of improvisation and movement exploration. They will explore the elements of dance such as space, time, dynamics and relationship through guided activities. Children will have opportunities to reflect on their experiences and learn from each other’s learning processes.

Montessori Dance’s approach to dance and creative movement exploration align with the NESA and Australian National Curriculum’s approach to the study of Dance as an art form.

Ideal for:

Schools to offer children an opportunity to interact creatively with their fellow classmates during lockdown.
Homeschooling parents and carers to gather a group of interested families and book a class for their group.

You can book a one off class or recurring weekly classes. LIVE online classes are available on these dates and times:
